One of the directions that is needed in social/behavioral studies is examining in detail the world of here and now, second by second, and the larger world of individual and group behavior, and, the most difficult, the relationships between the two worlds. This entry proposes some of the steps that are needed, with particular emphasis on systematic studies of emotions.
